Dear Chapter C Members
We received a surprise at the Christmas
Party when they announced we were selected Couple of the
Year. What an honor it will be to serve in that
capacity. We have been members of Chapter C since 2005.
We joined shortly after we met some members at the mall
doing a Bike Show. We recognized Sue, and after talking
to her and the rest of the members there, we felt this
would be an opportunity to get to know people and doing
what we had a passion for, riding of course. This has
been a great ride with friends becoming part of our
extended family I started riding motorcycles while I was
in the service in 1969. Since then I have rode a lot of
different bikes with Kathy. The best one is the Goldwing,
which we have now, because it comes with all the extras,
friends. We have accumulated some wonderful
memories since joining Chapter C., one of those was at a
District Rally in Kerrville, Tx. We enter the Dress
Completion and won third place. I mention this because
of all the different problems and situations that arose
before the completion. You get to receive so much help
and advice from everyone, making you feel a part of
something that's hard to put into words, belonging.
We will do our best to serve in this
capacity, and we're going to have a lot of fun at the
same time.
